His head was so engrossed into his dancing that he did not notice the door open at first. He looked at his reflection in the mirror while he moved, but was then snapped back into reality upon hearing a female voice. He quickly turned to find the source of the voice, admittedly a little startled. Once he noticed it was only a female student, he grinned sheepishly and bent down to stop the music playing from his iPhone. “I didn’t think so either, but it’s no big deal. I was just warming up for today before everyone gets here, I guess.” He shrugged then walked over, holding his hand out. “I’m Jay, and I’m new here.”
She saw him snap out of his dancing trance, and he finally noticed her. He reassured her that it was okay with a grin and introduced himself. She nodded as she heard the reason why he was here so early, “Warming up? Sounds good.. you’re a really great dancer” she shot him a polite smile. Afterwards, she retuned his handshake and replied, “I’m Victoria, nice to meet you. I’m pretty new here too, just got here yesterday… and got lost, so I though I’d explore the pla-” she stopped herself from rambling and quickly asked, “What are you majoring in?” she was hoping to make another new friend, plus since Jay was new, maybe they could relate to a each other a bit.. maybe.
